The New Lawn played host to three matches this season with AEK Boco, Pucklechurch Sports and Sherborne Town all visiting and it was Forest Green’s lucky charm with 4-1, 4-0 and 3-0 wins in the games respectively.

Erin Williams came into the side halfway through the season and achieved the team’s top goalscorer award with nine goals from her 13 appearances.
She went on her way to achieving that total with a hat-trick away at strugglers AFC St Austell whilst netting braces at both Sherborne and Frampton Rangers.
Players’ and Coaches’ Player of the Season went to Katie Jones who ended the season with 18 appearances and four goals in the league whilst Young Player of the Season was given to defender Isabelle Martin who impressed in her 16 league matches.
In the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, Forest Green demolished fellow fifth tier side Frampton 6-1 before a difficult home test against Bridgwater United and despite a valiant effort which included a brilliant free kick from Katie Jones ended in a 4-2 defeat.
In the new version of the Gloucestershire County Cup, a comeback win against AEK Boco set up a semi-final clash away at third tier Cheltenham Town - and provided the opportunity for a good learning experience for the side.
Off the pitch, there was a successful story for captain Hattie Jones who took a break from the sport in January to prepare for the London Marathon in April which she managed to complete for charity which was a brilliant achievement.
