August is Family Month at FGR

With the cost of family days out continuing to rise, we're making it easier than ever for supporters to enjoy football together this summer.

Throughout August, Forest Green Rovers are offering a range of family-friendly initiatives, from Kids Go Free tickets and Fan Engagement Day to holiday camps and a special Family Fun Day.

Kids Go Free at every August home game

Thanks to our partners Grundon, all U16S can attend every FGR home fixture in August for free in all areas of The New Lawn.

That means a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) can watch the action for just:

• £38 in the standing areas

• £45 in the East Stand

The offer is available to all supporters and is automatically applied when booking online – simply add your tickets to your basket and U16 tickets will be discounted at checkout.

Free bus travel for children

As announced by the Government, children aged 5–15 in England can travel free on participating local bus services throughout August, with unlimited journeys and no registration required.

Why not catch the Stagecoach 63 to The New Lawn and avoid the hassle of parking, while saving money and reducing your carbon footprint?

Please note: We are awaiting confirmation from Stagecoach that the scheme has been fully implemented. We will update supporters as soon as further information is available.

Fan Engagement Day returns – Tuesday 4 August

Our popular Fan Engagement Day returns on Tuesday 4 August, giving supporters a unique opportunity to get closer to the club ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The free event includes:

• Open first-team training session

• Meet the players, Robbie Savage and coaching staff

• Photos, autographs and Q&A opportunities

• Food and drink available throughout the day

• Pop-up club shop

• Evening Fans' Forum with Dale Vince and Robbie Savage in the Carol Embrey Suite

Family Fun Day – Saturday 8 August

When we welcome FC Halifax Town to The New Lawn on Saturday 8 August, supporters can enjoy even more family entertainment before kick-off.

Our Family Fun Day will feature:

• Free face painting in the Fan Zone

• Free FGR Community holiday camp taster session from 1.00 pm–2.30 pm

• No booking required – simply turn up on the day.

• Children should wear suitable clothing and footwear

FGR Community Holiday Camps

Our popular FGR Community Holiday Camps run throughout August, providing children with a fun-filled day of football, games and activities led by FA-qualified coaches.

Each camp includes:

• Football coaching and activities

• Hot lunch

• Match ticket

Supporters can also try one of our free holiday camp taster sessions before our home fixtures between 12.00 pm and 1.30 pm, giving children the chance to experience what the camps have to offer before kick-off.
