Details for open training session & fans forum at The New Lawn
We’re pleased to invite supporters to our third Fan Engagement Day during the summer holidays, a unique fan-focused event to be held at The New Lawn on Tuesday 4 August 2026.
With open training beginning at 10:30 am, we will also be hosting a Fans’ Forum on the evening of 4 August, with doors opening at 6:00 pm. This is a free, ticketed event, which can be reserved using this link.
Come and watch Robbie Savage and his coaching team put the players through their paces, offering a first-hand look at a live training session. Tickets for the Open Training Session are available via this link.
9:00 am: Doors open, with the bar open, offering a selection of hot & cold drinks and some light breakfast options.
10:00 am: Open training session on the stadium pitch
12:00 pm: Enjoy a range of lunch options in the Carol Embrey Suite.
12.15 pm: Open training ends,
1.30 pm: Supporters can meet the players and the management team in the Carol Embrey suite for photos and autographs
3.30 pm: Event is expected to conclude
The FGR Community will be running Summer Holiday Camps on the School Pitch throughout August, offering a great option for kids (and parents!) for the summer holidays alongside the Open Training Session.
These can be booked using this link, and there will be a special event on Tuesday 4 August with FGR Players being part of their camp, and kids can join the Players in the Carol Embrey afterwards.
For your retail needs, a fully stocked pop-up shop will be available with all the latest FGR merchandise!

We will also be hosting our Fans’ Forum on the evening of Tuesday 4 August, with doors opening from 6:00 pm and the event starting at 7:00 pm.
Our panel will include Chairman Dale Vince and First-Team Manager Robbie Savage, which will take place in the Carol Embrey Suite.
During the evening, supporters will be invited to ask questions directly to any of our panellists. Questions can be submitted on the day or in advance.
Supporters who are unable to attend will also have the opportunity to submit their questions to questions@fgr.co.uk.
The bar will be open from 6:00 pm, with the event expected to finish around 9:00 pm.
