Attacking full-back Joseph Mills signed on a two-year-deal with Forest Green Rovers in June 2018.
The 28-year-old, who spent two seasons at Perth Glory, chalking up a total of 44 appearances and scoring one goal, was released by the Australian A-League side this summer.The Swindon-born player, who can play at left-back or left midfield, spent two seasons at Oldham Athletic in League One before heading to Australia.
Mills started his career at Aston Villa’s Academy before moving to the south coast with Southampton, making his debut for the Saints in 2008 as he went on to play 26 games including an appearance in the victorious Football League Trophy final before enjoying loan spells at Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers.
In 2011 he joined Reading before joining Burnley, a club he had been on loan at from the Royals.
After loan spells at both Oldham and Shrewsbury Town, Mills joined the Latics permanently, making 45 appearances.
Mills also has six caps to his name for England Under 17s and Under 18s.
