Forest Green Rovers signed Ebou Adams for an undisclosed fee from National League side Ebbsfleet United in the summer of 2019.The 23-year-old, box-to-box midfielder has put pen to paper on a two-year contract at The New Lawn following a fine season with Ebbsfleet where he made 37 appearances.
The London-born midfielder started his career at Dartford, who currently ply their trade in the National League South, before becoming the club’s record sale when he joined Premier League club Norwich City.
Adams was a key player for Norwich’s under-23s and had a loan spell with Shrewsbury Town in League One before having a one-year option in his contract triggered in April, extending his stay until the summer of 2018.
He went out on loan to Leyton Orient during the 2017-18 campaign where he impressed and despite having an offer on the table to make the move permanent, opted for a move to Ebbsfleet last summer where he signed a two-and-a-half year deal.
Adams also has seven international caps with Gambia to his name and was actually on duty for The Scorpions when he heard about the approach from Forest Green.
