After four-and-a-half years away at from The New Lawn, our club record scorer returned to Nailsworth, ready to add some more goals to his tally.

In his first spell with Rovers, Doidge gained legendary status by scoring an incredible 66 goals in 122 games. He scored 27 goals as Rovers gained promotion from the National League in the 2016-17 campaign, he then bagged 20 goals as he helped steer FGR to safety in League Two the following season, before scoring 14 goals in 25 appearances during his final campaign in Gloucestershire.
