A central defender who is strong in the air and reads the game well, Jordan Moore-Taylor gives Rovers experience and physical presence in defence. His footwork and positioning are exemplary, helping him keep even the tallest centre forwards quiet. Whether he’s coming out to meet long forward balls, making critical tackles or showing opponents away from goal, his defensive skills give FGR steel at the back.
During the 2021/22 season, Jordy was instrumental in helping Rovers win the League Two title. Across 40 league appearances, and with two goals, he gave the club the defensive platform it needed to build an outstanding away record.
Signed before the start of the 2020/21 campaign, Jordan is in his 13th season of League football and has made over 300 senior appearances. Moving from Exeter City to Milton Keynes in 2018, Jordy previously helped the Dons secure promotion to League One in his first season with the club.

A left-footer, Jordan can play a crafted ball forward to turn defence into attack and launch powerful goal-bound rockets when he gets the opportunity to shoot from outside the penalty area.
