Ricardo Rees joined Rovers from Merthyr Town in January 2026, quickly becoming a fan favourite by scoring a brace on his debut against Halifax Town.

Rees scored 38 goals in the 2023/24 season with the Welsh side, followed by another impressive 33 goals in the 2024/45 season.

The deadly striker would then go on to score six goals and contribute two assists across 14 appearances in the 2025/26 season for the Rovers.
