Forest Green Rovers is delighted to announce a new partnership with The Vegan Society. From the start of the 2025-26 season, our training shirts will carry the logo of the society's Vegan Trademark.
The sponsorship deal is another milestone in the partnership between Forest Green Rovers and the world's oldest vegan charity, which began more than eight years ago. We're the only football club in the world to have achieved Vegan Trademark certification – another example of us doing things a different way.
Founded in 1990 by The Vegan Society, The Vegan Trademark was created as a simple yet powerful tool to help consumers easily identify products that align with vegan values.
The trademark has empowered shoppers to make informed choices, leading to increased accessibility of vegan products across the globe.
There are now more than 70,000 products certified by the trademark across 68 countries. These span a diverse range of sectors, including food and drink, cosmetics, toiletries, fashion, homeware, raw materials and much more.
On the partnership, Forest Green Rovers CEO Dane Vince, said: "It has been a long journey as a club to become fully vegan in all aspects of our operations, encountering some sizeable challenges over the years.
"The Vegan Society has helped us on this journey and worked incredibly hard to assist us to further increase the awareness of plant-based diets throughout football, sports and society as a whole.
"Our relationship with The Vegan Society has developed over eight years into a full partnership for both the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons and I look forward to working together on some innovative and exciting ideas."
