FGR Women ran out comfortable 8-0 winners over Weston Super Mare in the FA Cup Second qualifying round at The Bolt New Lawn on Sunday afternoon.
Rovers came flying out of the traps and had two great chances in the opening 10 minutes as Charlie Rowlands saw her curling effort saved not long before she struck the base of the post.
They did take the lead however on 16 minutes as a brilliant looping corner from the far side was met by Sally Butterfield who smashed home the opener on the volley.
It was two just five minutes later as Nynka Rucker broke into the box and kept her cool getting to the ball first sliding the ball under the Seagulls keeper.
Rucker had her second of the afternoon just moments later this time latching on to a ball from deep before calmly rounding the keeper to roll Rovers three to the good.
Ellie Briscoe was next to find the net with her first goal in the Rovers green and black as she superbly beat her marker before slotting home the fourth goal.
Rovers had time for one more goal before the break and it was Rucker who ran on to a brilliant Lucy Johnstone pass before squeezing the ball under the keeper.
Into the second half and the goals continued to flow, this time captain Hattie Jones scoring as she rose well to meet a cross from the right to power a header back across goal into the bottom corner.
It was seven two minutes later as Rucker had her fourth with this the pick of the bunch as she beat her marker down the wing before getting into the box and curling home.
Youngster Julia Buczel made her debut off the bench for Rovers after being called up from the ETC squad and would have a debut goal 10 minutes from time.
After her original effort was handled on the line by a WSM defender which saw a red card brandished, Buczel stepped up to fire home before wheeling off in celebration to the delight of the fans in attendance.
It was a resounding victory for Neil Moore’s side who are into the hat for the third round of qualifying with those matches taking place in a couple of weeks.
