It's been a while, but Saturday 3pm football returns to The New Lawn this weekend for the first time since October 28.
Rovers have spent the last two weekends on the road, with long trips to Scarborough Athletic and Tranmere Rovers, but David Horseman's side host Grimsby Town in Nailsworth on Saturday.
We have plenty going on at The New Lawn tomorrow, with plenty of activity in the fanzone, which can be enjoyed by both home and away supporters!
Let's start off with what's happening in the Nijhuis Fanzone - we have face painting, live music, food trucks and more!
The fanzone is open from 12:30pm. Specialising in handmade vegan pizzas, Pizza Wisdom, a Bristol-based food truck will in the fanzone, as will The Picnic Box, who will be serving teas and coffees from their truck.
As always, the BrewDog beer truck will be open for those looking for a pre-match pint, while Generation Groove, an upbeat, modern four piece band from the South West will be providing the live tunes in the marquee!
Face-painter Debbie Neely will also be in the fanzone!
The Club Shop will be open from 12pm, with plenty of new items in stock and bargains to be had. 2024 calendars went on sale earlier this week, which is the perfect Christ,as stocking-filler for the big FGR fan in your life - and for this weekend only, you can get 20% of this season's Oatly training tops!
We'll also have a pop-up Club Shop in the East Stand concourse during half time. This was trialled at Tuesday night's match against Scarborough - and proved to be very popular.
The pop-shop sells hats and scarves, so it's perfect if you're feeling a bit chilly during the first half. Pop on down and pay Mike a visit during the 15-minute interval and make sure you're wrapped up warm for the second period.
Tickets are available online until midnight, so make sure to get yours now so you don't miss out. Tickets will then go back on sale from the Ticket Office at The New Lawn from 12pm on Saturday afternoon.
Tickets for our upcoming games against Walsall, Bradford City and Wrexham can be purchased from the Ticket Office immediately after Saturday's game.
As they do at every home game, FGR Community will be hosting a food collection opposite the Ticket Office ahead of the game. All the food donated will be used to stock the Forest Green Community Cafe and Food Project, based at the Arkell Centre, which is used to support local residents in need of food support.
Any donations are hugely appreciated.
After he was announced as the first inductee into the Ever Green Club earlier this week, there will be a Q&A with Rovers legend Sam Russell in the Carol Embrey Suite from 2:15pm on Saturday.
The former Rovers shot-stopper will then be interviewed pitchside by PA Announcer Joel Wagstaff at around 2:30pm.
The Green Man and Gym Bar will be open from 12pm, showing the early kick-off between Notts County and Bradford City in League Two.
The Gym Bar is the ideal place to have a pre-game drink if you have kids. In the Gym Bar, there is a play area designed specifically for children. It has table football, board games, card games and more - and it's also open after the game too for a post-match debrief over a beer.
