Veganuary has inspired and supported millions of people to try vegan since 2014. As a non-profit organisation, they've helped millions of people move towards a plant-based diet protect the environment, prevent animal suffering, and improve their health. In their strive for a vegan world, Veganuary has provided education on veganism with participation increasing year on year since 2014.
Back in 2012, we took the first step by giving red meat the red card, a year later we removed white meat from the menu. 2014 was the last time fish was served at the stadium, before finally completing the transition to fully plant-based in 2015. However, this transition didn't stop us serving doing burgers and pies. From the incredible Devil's Kitchen burger, award-winning Q-Pie and even delicious pasties, we’ve made a big impact on fans, players and other clubs.
In 2017, FGR was officially recognised as the world’s first vegan football club after we received the Vegan Trademark from The Vegan Society, to date, we're the only certified vegan football club in the world! Throughout our journey, an audience of billions since we officially became a vegan club, and we continue to get the message about sustainable vegan food out there in a big way.
We've had a helping hand along the way. With the help of our food and beverage partners our players, fans and visitors enjoy inspiring and tasty options made here at FGR. Plant-based products that don't compromise on quality or taste. Check out some of the easy switches we've made with our partners below:
