The Club is delighted to announce that Russell Milton has joined the club as our chief scout.
Milton has spent much of his career both as a player and staff member at Cheltenham Town in a number of roles.
The 55-year-old spent last season as their head of recruitment.
He previously worked as an assistant manager under three previous Cheltenham managers and took interim charge on three occasions, too.
Experienced boss Steve Cotterill signed Milton from Dover Athletic when he was in charge of the Robins in 1997.
Milton helped Cheltenham win the FA Trophy, Conference title, and promotion through to League One during his off-the-pitch time at his previous club.
On his arrival, Milton said: “The timing has been perfect and a great one to transition into.
"I'm looking forward to trying to replicate some of those successes that I've had before here at Forest Green now.
"This role suits perfectly and it's one I've been relishing and can't wait to get my teeth into."
