Forest Green can confirm that we will participate in the National League Cup for the 2025/26 Season.

The competition sees Enterprise League clubs playing against Premier League 2 sides and Championship clubs in a series of midweek games.

Rovers will play against Leicester City, Nottingham Forest, West Brom and Wolves in the group games, with the aim of advancing to the knockout stages.

All four of the group games are played at The New Lawn.

Manager Robbie Savage explained: “The further development of young players will be crucial in the future of our football club as well as ensuring all players in the first team squad are ready for match action. 

“The scheduling with just one extra match per month can help provide key minutes for players in preparation for tough National League fixtures."

Match Round 1 – 12/13 August

Match Round 2 – 16/17 September

Match Round 3 – 21/22 October

Match Round 4 – 25/26 November

Quarter Final – 27/28 January

Semi Final – 17/18 February

Final – 17/18 March
