Rovers thank Gloucestershire's care workers

February 10th 2021Noah Dougherty

FGR Community delivered over 350 Oatly Breakfast Stacks to local care and residential homes this morning, as a token of thanks to the amazing staff who have worked so hard over the course of a very difficult year.

We wanted to show our appreciation and gratitude to those working with the most vulnerable members of our society, and there is no better example than those who work so tirelessly at Stinchcombe Manor, Moreton Hill, Henlow Court, Scarlett House, Winslow House, Steppes, Horsefall House and Aaron House.

This gesture of thanks has been made possible with the support of Gloucestershire County Council’s Thriving Communities grant that supports people to stay well and to live independently for as long as possible.

We would also like to extend our thanks to Oatly for providing the key ingredients and Candriam and First Choice Utilities for their continued support of the FGR Community Trust. Their invaluable backing allows us to have a greater impact during these challenging times.

Over the last 12 months FGR Community have connected with over 1,000 individuals as part of our Tackling Loneliness Together project funded by DCMS and the EFL Trust. If you are, or know someone who may need some additional support during the pandemic please contact us on community@fgr.co.uk
