Forest Green Rovers are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Tate Campbell from Buxton for an undisclosed fee.
The defensive midfielder has made 24 appearances in all competitions this season for the Bucks.
The 23-year-old began his career in Birmingham City’s academy, featuring for both the U18S and U23S before securing his first loan move to Bromley during the 2021/22 season, where he made six appearances. Campbell returned to Birmingham the following season and featured for the Blues in the Championship, including a 2–1 defeat to Norwich City in August 2022.
Campbell then joined Hereford for the 2024/25 campaign, where he began to make a name for himself in senior football. The midfielder made 40 appearances that season, scoring six goals and providing three assists.
After just one season with Hereford, Campbell moved to Buxton ahead of the current campaign. He will link up with Robbie Savage’s side immediately and will wear the number 18 shirt for the Rovers.
