A 3-1 victory in a pre-season outing against Weston Super Mare Women sees Rovers look in control ahead of the new campaign.

Goals from Cerys Jones, Ashleigh Watson and Holly Thomas secured the victory for FGR.

Head Coach, Chris Hicks, said: "I thought we played really well - and controlled the game from start to finish, with plenty of opportunities in both halves.

"We're happy with the result and our preparations ahead of the season. We're looking forward to the start of the campaign and our first FA Cup match."
