Forest Green Rovers have clinched the signing of Ben Stevenson from Colchester United.

The exciting midfielder links up with Rovers after making 97 appearances for the Essex-based outfit across two spells - and pens a two-year-deal with the Club.

The 24-year-old started his career with Coventry City as an eight-year-old, going on to play on 48 occasions for the Sky Blues and winning the EFL Trophy, before joining Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Stevenson enjoyed loan spells with Colchester and Spanish side Jumilla while with Wolves, before heading to the JobServe Community Stadium permanently - becoming a mainstay in the side across three seasons in League Two.
