Forest Green returned to the top of the Enterprise National League table with a 2-0 win over Woking at the Laithwaite Community Stadium.
Goals in either half from Clarke and Knowles were enough for victory as we continued our unbeaten start to the 2025-26 campaign.
It was an entertaining start to the game with both sides creating openings but Rovers took the early lead thanks to Clarke's close range finish after some excellent work from Kairo Mitchell on the right-side.
Rovers were forced into an early change as Abraham Kanu collided with the post as he defended a dangerous corner.
Clarke struck a free-kick just over the top from distance whilst Tre Pemberton headed over the crossbar from Kyle McAllister's deep cross as Rovers pressed.
Harry Beautyman headed Woking's best chance of the half just past the before the break following some good work by Tariq Hinds on the left side.
Half-time: Woking 0-1 Forest Green
Rovers doubled the lead just before the hour mark with Clarke's dangerous corner cleared as far as Isaac Moore who fired the ball into the danger area with Knowles flicking home.
A flowing Rovers move then saw McAllister finds Knowles inside the area, he found Mitchell but the forward struck over the crossbar.
Harry Whitwell won the ball high up and crossed for Mitchell but Norcott made an excellent low save before Pemberton struck over the crossbar.
Woking pressed but Rovers kept the hosts at arms length and took home all three points.
