Forest Green Rovers were held to a 1-1 draw away at Wealdstone after Issac Moore’s header was cancelled out by Micah Obiero.
The deadlock was broken halfway through the first half on Saturday as Jili Buyabu’s cross was perfectly headed into the top left corner by Moore.
Obiero levelled for Wealdstone in the second half as Enzio Boldewijn’s delivery went through bodies and found the 31-year-old, who touched home.
A point on the road has ended a run of four league victories, but still marks 13 points from the last 15 available.
The first chance of the game came within the opening minutes as Obiero was released after a long ball over the top, and after cutting back on to his right foot, the resulting shot flew past the far post.
Forest Green grew into the game, and Laurent Mendy had a great opportunity when Kyle McAllister’s free kick picked him out wide open at the back post, but he was unable to get enough power on the header.
It would be a similar story moments later as Buyabu’s cross was met by Moore, who couldn’t convert his downward header.
Those two would combine again on the 25-minute mark, and this time for the opener as the man on loan from Coventry brilliantly ran on to and headed in Buyabu’s delivery.
Half-Time: Wealdstone 0-1 Forest Green
Once again, it was Wealdstone who had the best chance early in the half as Boldewijn’s cross was met by Obiero, who was unable to keep his header down.
Robbie Savage’s side nearly doubled their advantage when Moore picked the ball up on the halfway line and drove at the home defence before setting up Temi Babalola, but his effort was stopped by Dante Baptiste.
The hosts levelled the fixture on the hour mark as Dominic Hutchinson managed to escape the defence to deliver the ball to the back post, and Obiero was there to bundle home.
Freshly on to the pitch at Grosvenor Vale, Aidan Dausch had a brilliant chance when he worked the space for a shot from the left, but his shot was saved well by Baptiste.
The pressure kept on being applied by Forest Green as Kyle McAllister latched onto a mistake by Daniel Nkrumah, ultimately shooting off target.
Both sides had a chance to win the game a minute from time, with first FGR coming close as McAllister slipped in Dausch, who was denied by the onrushing Baptiste and then down the other end, Harry Isted did well to stop Nkrumah, who was in one-on-one.
