FGR return to the Fully Charged New Lawn this Saturday to take on Swindon Town as they look to stay at the summit of League Two.
Rovers come into this fixture off the back of a brilliant 2-0 win up at Carlisle United, keeping their 5th clean sheet on the bounce in the process. Saturday’s visitors also impressed last weekend with a late comeback win at Bristol Rovers, ending a run of four winless games in the league.
“It will be a really exciting game between two good teams. I know we’ll get a packed house as well, I think they’ll be a good turnout, so we are really looking forward to it," said Rob Edwards.
“They like to have the ball; they’ve got a really good way about them. They’ve got a really distinct style and they have the most possession in the league so we have got to be ready. We’ve got to be good without the ball, we’ve got to be aggressive and we’ve got be brave when we have the ball as well.”
"They've had a really good start to the season and they are a good template for a League Two side," said Swindon boss Ben Garner.
"They are a strong side and we know we have to go there playing well. Jamille Matt is a very strong forward and has been playing well but we are going to Forest Green to win this game."
Ebou Adams is away with Gambia during the international break and Udoka Godwin-Malife is still proceeding positively with his recovery.
Rovers have no other absentees.
