FGR head to The Sands Venue Stadium this Saturday as they take on Scunthorpe United in a top vs bottom of the table clash.
Rovers head to Lincolnshire after losing 2-0 to Swindon last weekend in just their second defeat of this Sky Bet League Two season.
The hosts meanwhile lost 6-1 one to promotion hunting Harrogate Town meaning they’ve now failed to win in their last six league outings.
WHAT WE SAID
“We’ve had a good week’s training and the game in mid-week as well to be able to prepare for the game and we’re looking forward to the challenge,” said the boss Rob Edwards.
“It’s going to be a really interesting game for us. We’ve just come off the back of a defeat as well in the league and we want to put right that wrong.
“They’ll (Scunthorpe) want a reaction and I’m pretty sure they’ll get that, so we’ll be going in with the ultimate respect trying to do what we do every single week.”
WHAT THEY SAID
“Obviously we had the result on Saturday which was really disappointing for the football club and supporters,” said Scunthorpe manager Neil Cox.
“We’ve sat down and spoken to the players with honesty and looked at our mistakes from the game when we all came back in, and we’ve put that to bed.
“We’ve got a busy week coming up, starting with the top of the league at home, and my players have to stand up and be counted.”
