For one last time this season in the National League regular season, Rovers are on the road making the 510-mile round trip to the Suit Direct Stadium to face Hartlepool United.
Rovers ran out 1-0 winners when we met Hartlepool back in September thanks to a sweeping finishing from Charlie McCann.
It’s Rovers’ first trip to Hartlepool since 2021 and this will be just the fourth meeting between the sides with Rovers winning twice and earning a draw back in 2022.
Ahead of our trip to Durham, here is everything Rovers’ fans need to know about our opposition.
Hartlepool occupy a comfortable mid-table position in 12th and can only finish as high as 11th on the final day of the season.
They head into Monday’s fixture following two defeats in their last five games, both to our potential playoff rivals Oldham Athletic and Rochdale.
At home, Hartlepool have built some late resilient form being undefeated in their last four and winning their last three 3-2 v Gateshead, 3-2 v Ebbsfleet United and 4-1 v Boston United.
Anthony Limbrick took over the Pools as Head Coach back in February when Lennie Lawrence took a step back from his managerial duties.
Since then, Limbrick has overseen 12 matches for the Pools winning four, drawing four and suffering defeat four times.
Limbrick has got experience managing having been in the dugout for Grimsby Town, on a caretaker basis, Woking and The New Saints.
Emmanuel Dieseruvwe has been the Pools most successful avenue for goals this season netting 16 times in 45 appearances.
The 30-year-old has found the net four times in his last seven games and has lasted a full 90 minutes in eight of his last nine games.
