This weekend Forest Green Rovers Women take on Pucklechurch Sports at The New Lawn as part of a double header on Saturday with the Men’s side.

Rovers come into the match, which kicks off at 5.45pm, on the back of a defeat last weekend to Marine Academy Plymouth and an exit from the cup on Thursday but will be hoping to turn fortunes around against the Bristol side.

Pucklechurch currently sit eighth in the South West Regional Women’s side on 16 points, eight clear of the drop whilst FGR are now in fourth place on 29 points.

Entry for the match is free and it will be the first time that Rovers have played at The New Lawn since their 4-1 win over AEK Boco in September.

The officials team for the match will be Justin Cox, Kelvin Day and Gordon Varley.

PREVIOUS MEETING

It's only been one month since Rovers travelled to Pucklechurch in a match which ended in a 2-2 draw.

The home side took a two-goal lead but a goal from Erin Williams halved the advantage before half-time. In the second half, a Tyra Wilson strike levelled the match as the points were shared.
