Forest Green Rovers are back at The Fully Charged New Lawn as they take on Mansfield Town in League Two action on Tuesday evening.
Rovers return to GL6 having broken their record for their longest unbeaten run in the Football League after a 1-1 draw on the road against Northampton Town.
Nigel Clough’s Stags defeated Walsall 2-0 and they’ve now won nine of their last 10 in the league.
"Mansfield are a really intense team who work very hard," said Rob Edwards.
"Once they lose it, their reactions are incredible. They press, press, press, run in-behind and they’re a look forward, play forward, run forward team."
"They’ve got lots of energy and they’ve found a winning formula with nine wins from their last 10 league games, so they’ve been really good for the last couple of months."
“It is a test. It’ll be a good measure to see where we are against the [team] top of the league and how close we are to them," said Nigel Clough.
“We’ve got to defend well when we need to. We need to try and negate their threat as much as we can and try to stop the service from going into the strikers. “We’ve got to be tight. We’ve got to be solid as well as opposing an attacking threat.”
Rovers will still be without midfielder Ebou Adams who is away with Gambia at the Africa Cup of Nations.
There are no fresh injury or Covid concerns for Rob Edwards.
