Rovers are back in action at the Fully Charged New Lawn, as we welcome Richie Wellens’ Leyton Orient to Nailsworth for a League Two clash under the lights.
The visitors haven’t won since December, but sealed a 0-0 draw on Wellens’ managerial debut for the O’s on Saturday against Hartlepool United.
As for the hosts, Rob Edwards’ side will be looking to get back to winning ways after six games without victory and a defeat to Bradford last time out.
WHAT WE SAID:
“We expected Orient to be a bit higher [in the league table], they certainly have the quality and they have some really good players,” said Rob Edwards.
“They've got Paul Smyth and Harry Smith going forward, and they have some experience in good areas of the pitch.
“They’re a good team, and we’re aware of them, but it’s about what we do.”
“It’s about us and being the best Forest Green Rovers we can be.”
WHAT THEY SAID:
“They’re having a bit of a wobble. They were never going to go through the season winning every single week,” said Wellens.
“Their record up until six or seven games ago was fantastic.
“I’ve been in their position, you have injuries and suspensions and at some point you’re going to have a loss of form.
“What I will say is that they’ve got some good players and the manager there has done a tremendous job.”

After receiving a red card against Bradford, Udoka Godwin-Malife is suspended for the visit of Leyton Orient, while Dom Bernard is still recovering from an ankle injury he suffered against Salford.
