Nailsworth plays host to it's first ever League One fixture this weekend as Kieran McKenna's Ipswich Town visit The Bolt New Lawn.
Find out everything you need to know ahead of Ian Burchnall's first home game in charge.
"It’s a league fixture. We have every right to be playing Ipswich. We know they’re a very good team, but we deserve to be here," said Ian Burchnall.
"You look across the board at their team, and it could easily look like a Championship team, so I think it’s a great test for us.
“I watched their game against Bolton, and it was full throttle from minute one and ours was against Bristol Rovers, so I don’t expect it to be too cagey."
"Forest Green have done fantastically as a football club over the last few years," Kieran McKenna said.
"That's in terms of the way they’ve built the infrastructure but also as a team on the pitch.
"They have a very ingrained style of football. They haven’t actually changed too much from last year. They have a really attractive style of play. They play through the pitch and they score goals.
“They’ve lost a few key players and the manager but they’ve kept that continuity. They’ve also recruited well in the summer."
Rovers bolstered their attacking options with the additions of former top-flight forward Connor Wickham and Crystal Palace youngster Sean Robertson.
Armani Little is well on the way to fitness after picking up a knock ahead of opening day, while Matty Stevens and Harry Boyes remain absent.
