Rovers return to the Fully Charged New Lawn for a third consecutive League Two fixture at home as they face off against Colchester United on Tuesday.
FGR come into this game seven points clear at the summit of League Two after a 0-0 draw with Exeter City last week.
The visitors come into this fixture off the back of 3-1 away loss in the league to Crawley Town on New Year’s Day.
Rovers Boss Rob Edwards spoke on this week’s challenge: “They’ve got a mixture of youth and experience, down that spine they have some real experience.
“They’ve got some good forward players and they mix it up quite well whether they look to play through or can get in behind you.
“They’ve got their threats and I say that about every team because every team has, but they look good sometimes going forward.
“We feel like if we play our game well then we can cause them a lot of problems as well and we can hopefully exploit some areas of space that suits our game.”
There are no new worries for Rovers and they are likely to turn up to Tuesday’s fixture with no new injury or Covid absences.
