Brighton and Hove Albion U21s are the visitors for tonight's Papa John's Trophy group game, with the action getting underway at 7pm.
10-man Brighton fell to defeat at Walsall in their last outing in this competition, while Rovers picked up a point, but missed out on the penalty-shootout bonus point, against Northampton Town.
The two sides were meant to face off a fortnight ago, but a waterlogged pitch saw the fixture postponed.
Rovers have no fresh injury concerns ahead of this one, with Godwin-Malife nearing a return to action.
Forest Green and Brighton have met once in their respective histories, locking horns at the Withdean Stadium in 2003.
Rovers made the trip south in the LDV Vans Trophy, now called the EFL Trophy, with the Seagulls winning 2-0. You can watch the full match on our YouTube channel (goals at 34:40 and 1:27:45).
