VsBarrow (H)

Rovers’ return to The Fully Charged New Lawn is finally here, as we play in League Two action in GL6 for the first time in a month against Barrow.

Rob Edwards will be hoping his side can continue their five match unbeaten league run which they bolstered last weekend, beating Hartlepool United 3-1.

The away side meanwhile, managed by former Rovers boss Mark Cooper, come into the tie sitting in 19th after a 1-0 home defeat to Crawley Town on Saturday.

WHAT WE SAID

We’re looking forward to it. It’ll be great to be back in front of the home fans and it does feel like a long time,” started Head Coach Rob Edwards.

“We’ve got to be right at it to get anything from the game – Barrow are a good side.

“We have to concentrate on ourselves and what we can do. That’s the only thing we can control.”

What they said:

“Sometimes in football, you get strange results and upsets so we’ve just got to go and be really committed, commit to the game and make sure we take our frustrations out on the pitch,” said Mark Cooper. “Our fans will see a much harder-working display against Forest Green because Saturday simply wasn’t good enough.

“We had a disjointed week and there are plenty of excuses I could put out there, but one thing I can’t stop players doing is running about and having a right go – that costs nothing."

TEAM NEWS

Dan Sweeney was back on the bench for FGR on Saturday after being side-lined with a knee injury he picked up against Swindon Town in early October.

Ebou Adams was a doubt on Saturday but made the bench at Hartlepool, so will likely be available again tonight.

Rovers have no other fresh injury concerns.
