Play-off football graces The New Lawn on Wednesday night as Forest Green Rovers welcome Southend United.
The visitors needed a Charley Kendall extra time header to book their semi-final spot during a seven-goal thriller with Rochdale last Thursday.
During the last encounter back in March, goals from Ryan Inniss and Jordon Garrick saw Rovers lead twice but were also pegged back twice by goals from Macauley Bonne and Gus Scott-Morriss.
Ahead of the Shrimpers return to Nailsworth, here is everything Rovers fans need to know about the opposition.
Rovers have met with the Shrimpers twice already in the league with both encounters providing goals with both finishing 2-2.
The Shrimpers enjoyed an unbeaten end to the season going four games unbeaten which saw them confirm a top seven finish on the final day of the season following a goalless draw with Gateshead.
With Thursday nights result, they have suffered just one defeat in their last eight games and are currently enjoying a five-game unbeaten run.
In that run, they have recorded an impressive five clean sheets and finished the league campaign with four straight clean sheets.
Kevin Maher has guided the Shrimpers into the play-offs for the first time in 10 years with the clubs' last dream coming back during the 2015 League Two play-offs where they were promoted.
Maher took charge in October of 2021 and has since guided the side to a 13th, 8th, 9th and 7th placed finishes in the National League.
The Essex side have a few quality players to keep an eye out for during our play-off encounter such as highly talked about right-back, Gus Scott-Morriss.
Scott-Morriss has become one of the highest scoring right-backs in world football this season 17 goals in all competitions.
He has featured in 44 National League games and managed almost 4,000 minutes during the season.
