Rovers are on the road again in Sky Bet League Two with a visit to the Lancashire coast to face Morecambe.

Derek Adams' side have started the season in fine form, winning some competitive matches and currently sit in the play-off places.

Here is all you need to know ahead of the game.

What They Said:

Derek Adams

Morecambe manager Derek Adams:

"It is a frustrating situation because we will be without six players who started only last Saturday at Crawley and also missing our physio.

“We are following all the EFL guidelines in terms of those isolating.''

Team News:

Kane Wilson remains Rovers’ only injury absentee, while four further players continue to self isolate.

Key Player: Aaron Wildig

The 28-year-old attacking midfielder began his career with Cardiff City and made a loan move to Shrewsbury Town, making the loan move permanent in the summer of 2012.

Hereford born Wildig won Player of the Year for the Shrews in their relegation season in 2013/14 and after falling out of favour under manager Micky Mellon, was loaned out to Kidderminster Harriers and then Morecambe in March 2015.

Wildig made his loan move permanent that summer to join an attacking line-up for the Shrimps in the season that followed consisting of Kevin Ellison, Shaun Miller and Jamie Devitt.

Last Time We Met:

A goal from substitute Jack Aitchison 15 minutes from time proved the turning point in a 2-0 victory over Morecambe.

It's almost a year to the day since the win, which was wrapped up by Liam Shepherd in stoppage time.
