Forest Green Rovers are delighted to welcome Pulsin on board for the 2019/20 season, the Gloucester-based nutrition bar company becoming one of a number of exciting new companies to partner with the club.
With a wide range of their bars and snacks available to buy on a matchday, many Rovers fans will already be aware of the benefits, and taste, of Pulsin’s products.
“Community has always been a key ingredient to Pulsin’s success,” said Managing Director and co-founder Simon Ashburner.
“Our workforce, HQ and manufacturing facility are all based in Gloucestershire and we’re committed to supporting local businesses who share our values.
“Forest Green Rovers FC is an exciting and progressive football club with sustainability at its heart and community at its core and we’re delighted to be supporting them for the 2019/20 season.”
The Under 14 and Under 15 squad from our Academy recently paid a visit to the Pulsin’ factory and HQ in Quedgley, to learn about the importance of nutrition and how valuable the carbohydrates and vegan protein in the snacks can be to their performance on the pitch.
Following a tour of the facility, some of the young Rovers players even got the opportunity to try their hand at making their very own version of Pulsin’s award-winning bars.
“Sports nutrition is becoming really important in the world of sport at the moment,” explained FGR Academy Sports Rehabilitator Dan O’Brien.
“For our players in particular, they’re still growing and still developing their muscles, so what they eat is important in their journey to becoming professional footballers.”
Pulsin will be at Saturday’s game against Plymouth Argyle, handing out free samples and offering you FGR fans the chance to win great prizes with one of their activity sheets.
