Forest Green Rovers will be in Boxing Day action next month when they make the short trip to Newport County in League Two.
The Exiles are sitting pretty in fourth, five points ahead of 10th-place FGR so it is sure to be an exciting clash, both sides well within reach on the automatic play-off places.

Telephone lines are open Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm, or if you prefer to buy in person, we've also opened a new ticket office in Ecotricity’s Unicorn House office on Russell Street in Stroud, where you can buy tickets. The office is open Monday - Thursday between 8.30am and 5pm or Friday between 8.30am and 4pm.
Tickets can either be collected in advance from The New Lawn (on matchdays only), from Ecotricity opposite Bateman’s Sports or from Newport County’s ticket office on match day.
Tickets can be bought from Newport County’s ticket office on the day but there is £2 increase on all prices.
Forest Green Rovers fans have until Friday, December 21, at 10.00am to buy their tickets.

There are several public car parks in the City Centre within a short walking distance of Rodney Parade. There is also plenty of parking on the streets near the stadium but please be aware of local parking restrictions.
The nearest train station to Rodney Parade is Newport (Gwent). It is not far way and should take less than 10 minutes to walk.
Leave the train station via the entrance/exit at “Platform 1”. Cross the road (so that you are outside Admiral Insurance) and turn left. Follow the pavement. It will eventually curve left past Delilah’s Café and Bar. This will bring you out near the Market Arcade and Popadom’s Indian Restaurant. Turn left and follow the road to the end. At the end of the road you will see a staircase on your right. Go down the stairs and through the underpass which will bring you out at Clarence Street Bridge. Go over the bridge and take your first right onto Rodney Road.
Rodney Parade Away Stand has a bar situated within the Bisley Stand and a food van situated just inside the entrance.Rodney Parade has accessible toilets and baby changing facilities available in the away end.
