This festive period brings with it a local Gloucestershire derby as we travel to Whaddon Road to take on Cheltenham Town on Saturday, December 29.
It was a 1-1 draw when the two sides met earlier this season as Joseph Mills cancelled out Tyrone Barnett’s strike.
This will be an ALL TICKET match for visiting FGR supporters and details of how to get your tickets and travel in advance is all here:

Telephone lines are open Monday to Friday 8am – 8pm, or if you prefer to buy in person, we've also opened a new ticket office in Ecotricity’s Unicorn House office on Russell Street in Stroud, where you can buy tickets. The office is open Monday - Thursday between 8.30am and 5pm or Friday between 8.30am and 4pm.
Tickets can either be collected in advance from The New Lawn (on matchdays only), from Ecotricity opposite Bateman’s Sports or from Cheltenham Town’s ticket office on match day.
No tickets will be on sale on matchday to FGR supporters, so they must be purchased in advance. Seats are allocated, so supporters wishing to sit together, need to purchase together.
Forest Green Rovers fans have until Friday, December 28, at 10.00am to buy their tickets. We will not be able to sell tickets after this time.
Cheltenham Town are not able to reprint or duplicate any tickets, all supporters must make sure that they bring their tickets – they will not be let in if they have left them at home. It is also advisable that FGR fans do not travel if they haven’t purchased a ticket.

The round trip to Cheltenham takes around an hour and a half dependent on the traffic.
There will not be a rest-stop for this trip.

Leave the M5 at Junction 11 turning right towards Cheltenham. Go across 1st roundabout - GCHQ is on your left. Turn left at the next roundabout, into Princess Elizabeth Way. Go straight over the next roundabout, (the exit is over at about "1 o'clock"). Keep on up this road, and you will come to a big roundabout, where you will see a McDonalds on the corner. Go straight across this roundabout and continue up this road going over a double mini roundabout. Keep going for about 300 yards and then turn right into Swindon Lane. Go over the level crossing and straight over the next roundabout (signposted Prestbury) passing the race course on your left. Turn right into Albert Road (signposted Gloucestershire University) and at the bottom at the roundabout turn left into Prestbury Road, (the ground is signposted from here) and then further down Prestbury Road, turn right into Whaddon Road. The Jonny-Rocks Stadium is down on the left.
Cheltenham have a main car park at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium which is located at the back of the Autovillage Main Stand.

Please note: this cannot be done on a matchday. If you would like to pay on the day of the game, it is still at a charge of £5 cash on the main gate, however, it is on a first come, first served basis.
The car park on a Saturday matchday is open at 12noon and on an evening game from 5.30pm. For busier games the service on a matchday may not be available so please always book in advance to avoid disappointment.
There is also another car park which is located at the back of the Colin Farmer Stand. This car park it located in the Parklands Community Centre and is also available on a first come, first served basis on a matchday.
The nearest train station is Cheltenham Spa. To get to the town centre from Cheltenham Spa railway station you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes), get the Stagecoach D bus (departs every 10 minutes during peak times) or get a taxi (there is a taxi rank at the station).
Away Disabled Supporters
Away disabled supporters who require a wheelchair space need to book these in advance. This can be done by contacting their own Ticket Office (if allocation has been sent) or alternatively contacting the Ticket Office at Cheltenham Town Football Club on 01242 573558 option 1.
Away supporters who are ambulant can pay on the day of the game at the turnstiles with cash or just buy an advanced ticket through their respect Ticket Office (if allocation is sent). If paying by card away supporters will have to go to the Cheltenham Town Ticket Office on the day of the game.
All away supporters are seated in the Hazlewoods Stand, which is an all seater stand located behind the goal and accessed via Whaddon Road.
