Forest Green are delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Nick Haughton from AFC Fylde on a permanent deal.

He enjoyed an excellent 24/25 campaign at the Coasters – scoring 19 league goals and made a number of assists missing just one match all season.

His performances and numbers caught the eye across the division as he was named in the National League Team of the Season.

The 30-year-old has spent seven years at Fylde – making 273 appearances in all competitions.

Previously, the 30-year-old has had spells with Fleetwood Town, Salford City, and Chorley.

On the signing, Manager Robbie Savage said: “Nick is a superb addition to us and has all the qualities to be a top player for this football club.

“Nick has been attracting interest from teams in the EFL but wants to be a part of something special here at FGR and we’re delighted to have him.”
