Rovers’ game against Cambridge United on Saturday, December 3 will now kick-off at 1pm to avoid a potential clash with an England round of 16 fixture at the World Cup.

The fixture was initially scheduled to get underway at 3pm – but both clubs have reached an agreement to move it forward by two hours. If England were to finish second in their World Cup group in Qatar, then they’d play their round of 16 tie at 3pm on December 3.

Don’t worry though Rovers fans – if the Three Lions do play on the same day as the Cambridge clash, then we will show England’s first knockout game in the Green Man, Gym Bar and Carol Embrey Suite.

Our match against the U’s should finish at around 2:50pm – giving you enough time to make your way to one of our bars showing the game for kick-off.
