We would love to welcome and introduce our new Green Devil Newsletter Editors - Ambassadors Walt, Henry and Molly and thank our outgoing editor Tyler Watson for founding and developing the newsletter.
Tyler was nine years old when he started as the editor.
"We'd like to thank Tyler for all his sterling efforts producing The Green Devil newsletter with the support of his father Jono," said Sarah Urquhart, Head of Community.
"They are taking a back seat as Tyler embarks on his exam years at school and will continue on as part of the FGR Ambassador Alumni scheme.
"The first edition was a one side of A4 for Eastington Primary School and now we have a 5000 print run which is circulated to all our Ambassador schools, partners, fans on matchday, local care homes and independent living hubs amongst others, plus a fantastic online presence and electronic circulation."
Tyler will be passing the torch to Walt, Henry and Molly.
Walt is in his third year as an Ambassador after moving to the area and finding the club that helped him meet new friends and settle into school where he's grown in confidence and his enthusiasm has been contagious.
Henry is creative and passionate and loves design and wanted to get involved to develop his skills and give back his time and energy to the Club and community.
Molly is stepping back from her role as an Ambassador, having been involved at both primary and secondary level, in order to take up this challenge. She will continue on as a mentor at Archway School, supporting new Ambassadors.
As always, a big thanks goes to Grundon for their continued support of the Ambassador Programme.
We are also delighted that with the support of Grundon and Gloucestershire Council's Thriving Community fund, we are launching our newly formed senior Ambassador scheme, modelled on the back of our fantastic Primary and Secondary school offering.
Senior Ambassador's will promote the club and it's environmental values within their local communities and neighborhoods and work with FGR Community and the young Ambassadors to demonstrate our inclusivity and intergenerational fan base.
