Moore-Taylor extends Rovers stay

November 6th 2021Conor Shaw

Rovers defender Jordan Moore-Taylor has extended his contract with the Club until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

The 27-year-old centre-back joined Rovers last season from League One outfit MK Dons, where he made 41 appearances and won promotion from the fourth-tier alongside current teammate Baily Cargill.

Moore-Taylor started his career with boyhood club Exeter City, where he rose through the academy ranks to make over 180 appearances for the Grecians over a six-year spell.

Extremely important for Rovers already this season, the defender has helped contribute to six clean sheets so far - and has appeared on 45 occasions during his spell.

Rich Hughes, Director of Football, said: "Jordan has taken his solid finish to last season, and shown what an asset he can be to the football club with his performances and leadership to the group this season.

"We are delighted to have agreed an extension with Jordan for the next 18 months and we look forward to him continuing his good form this season."
