Forest Green Rovers captain, Dylan McGeouch, has been awarded April’s Quorn Star of the Month award, after winning 39% of the fans’ vote.

He beat Jamie Robson (30%), Jordan Garrick (16%) and Tyrese Omotoye (15%) to claim the award.

It is the second time that the Scotsman has won the award, having also scooped the trophy in March.

The 30-year-old appeared in all seven of Rovers’ league matches during April.

Since making the move to GL6, Rovers' Player of the Season has appeared on 24 occasions so far this season, becoming an ever-present in the starting line-up.
