Kyle McAllister says Forest Green need to 'go again' against Wycombe Wanderers on Easter Monday.

It's quick turnaround for Rovers, who suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Derby County on Friday, but it gives Duncan Ferguson's side the chance to right the wrongs from that result.

It's an unforgiving schedule - and it's another tough game for Rovers, with Wycombe well in the hunt for a play-off spot. Matt Bloomfield's side will be eager to return to winning ways following their 4-0 demolition at League One title hopefuls Ipswich Town last time out.

"We need to go again on Monday," said McAllister. "We need to recover quickly from the Derby game.

"I think the Sheffield Wednesday home game shows you how far we've come as a team. It shows we can compete with the bigger and better teams.

"We've lost to some teams near the top of the table recently, but they've all been by one goal or two goals, we're not losing five-nil or six-nil. We're holding our structure a lot better now. We can give it a go against every team.

"Fitness is a big thing at this period of the season, but it helps that we have such a young squad. The 19/20-year-olds can just keep going.

"We just go into every game looking for a result. If you look at the table then it can deflate you a bit, so the boys will go again at Wycombe and give everything."
