David Horseman has made three changes for Rovers' Bristol Street Motors Trophy clash with Oxford United.
Kyle McAllister has not been risked tonight by Horseman, so Callum Jones comes into the side as his replacement.
“Originally after Bradford he felt his hamstring. We did a scan and there is no injury there so that is good,” Horseman said.
“But he is getting a little bit of a back spasm so, it is not worth risking him.”
After back-to-back substitute appearances, Ryan Inniss makes his first start since his return from injury, replacing Fankaty Dabo and Callum Morton returns to the bench.
“Ryan was due to get minutes on Saturday and not tonight,” he said.
“It gives him and Jordy [Moore-Taylor] the chance to form a partnership.”
And penalty hero, Jamie Searle, remains as Horseman’s goalkeeper choice for this competition.
Starting XI- Searle (GK), Bernard, Inniss, Jenks, McCann, Deeney, Moore-Taylor©, Robson, Omotoye, Bunker, Jones
Bench- Pagel (GK), Johnson, Bendle, Robertson, Welch, Dabo, Morton.
