Match Report | Forest Green 0-0 Barnet

A point apiece for promotion rivals at The New Lawn

Match Highlights
January 15th 2025Rhys Anderson

Forest Green Rovers shared the spoils with Barnet in a scoreless draw at The New Lawn on Tuesday evening in extremely foggy conditions.

In the challenging weather, the Bees came out of the blocks the quickly and had the better of the chances in the first half but couldn’t score past Jed Ward as he proved himself equal to all the chances.

Rovers came out strong at the break with McAllister linking up with Sean Long on the right flank to create a few chances to break the deadlock.

The best chance of the game came just after the hour mark as Harvey Bunker came close with a hooked effort on goal before the rebound fell to Tom Knowles whose effort was cleared off the line by a plethora of diving bodies.

Forest Green looked the better team in stoppage time at the end of the game as Harvey Bunker flicked a Ben Tozer long throw goalwards before Ryan Inniss had a header on target saved.
