Forest Green Rovers fell to an unfortunate 2-1 defeat at home to Doncaster Rovers.
FGR looked like they were going to claim their first point of the season at The New Lawn until Ben Close scored a 96th minute winner for the visitors.
David Horseman handed a first start to Fankaty Dabo, while Jordan Moore-Taylor, Charlie McCann and Matty Stevens also returned to the XI.
However, Dabo's afternoon was cut short, with the defender forced off with an injury after just eight minutes - and replaced by Dom Bernard.
Doncaster started brightly, with Joe Ironside seeing an acrobatic overhead kick hit the side netting - and Luke Daniels was then at full stretch to deny Tom Nixon.
The hosts then burst into life - and hit the woodwork three times in a three minute period. In the 19th minute, Troy Deeney hit the bar before Matty Stevens struck the post with the rebound.
Moments later, it was Kyle McAllister's turn to hit the woodwork, as his shot rolled across the line before being cleared.
McAllister almost set up the opener just before the half hour mark, but Jamie Robson couldn't get on the end of his low cross.
Doncaster took the lead in the 35th minute when Harrison Biggins pulled off an overhead kick of his own, giving Luke Daniels no chance.

The second half didn't see as many clear cut chances, with McAllister and Taylor both missing the target with shots, but Rovers got their reward for their persistence in the 83rd minute.
Having had a header cleared off the line just 60 seconds before, Jordan Moore-Taylor once again rose highest to meet a delicious Marcel Lavinier corner to bring the game level.
And Rovers nearly won it in the last minute of normal time. Lavinier put in another wicked cross which floated all the way to the back post and found Harvey Bunker, but he shot over the bar from just a few yards.
Doncaster won the game in the final seconds. With Rovers down to 10-men after Moore-Taylor picked up an injury having already used five subs, Ben Close whipped in a cross from the left side which somehow looped over Luke Daniels and into the Rovers net.
A cruel way to lose a game for Rovers, who make the trip to Notts County next weekend.
