Forest Green Rovers secured a comprehensive 4-0 victory at The New Lawn against Gateshead.
A late first-half goal from Kyle McAllister, who fired his effort into the bottom-left corner, gave Rovers the lead.
Goals from Ricardo Rees and Jayden Clarke in quick succession gave FGR all the momentum they needed.
Oli Ewing got his name on the scoresheet for the first time in green, his effort rippling into the right side of the net.
First Half:
Following a 1-0 win over Hornchurch last Saturday, Robbie Savage's men hoped to carry on from where they left off.
Rees found space for a shot from the left, but his effort was comfortably saved by Pete Jameson.
Forest Green created several chances in the opening 20 minutes, as the visitors adopted a deep defensive shape from the outset.
Kyle Kelly picked up the ball on the right before waiting patiently for his chance, curling an effort towards the top-left corner. Jameson stretched to his full extent to tip the ball away.
Kelly once again targeted the top-left corner from a tight angle, but this time the wind carried his effort wide.
After a quiet ten-minute spell, Rovers attempted to reapply the pressure.
Sean Etaluku was awarded a free-kick in a dangerous position after being cut down near the edge of the box.
Jayden Clarke aimed for the bottom-left corner, but Jameson read the effort well and collected comfortably.
FGR were finally able to break the deadlock on the brink of half-time.
Rovers exploited a three-on-two advantage as wideman Etaluku burst down the left wing before cutting the ball back to Rees, who laid it off for McAllister to fire into the bottom-left corner.
A well-deserved goal in the closing stages of the first half gave Rovers the momentum to carry into the second 45.

Second Half:
The gaffer was forced to make a half-time substitution, with Kyle Ajayi making way for Gabe Kircough.
The first clear-cut chance for Gateshead came from a corner.
Michael Spellman's set-piece almost found the back of the net; however, Ethan Ross reacted quickly to stop the cross on the line before it was cleared away.
Just after the hour mark, Rovers were able to double their advantage.
McAllister produced a spectacular run down the right flank before picking out Rees, who poked the ball past an outstretched Jameson and into the bottom-left corner.
Everything was going Rovers' way as Jayden Clarke made it three.
Second-half substitute Nick Haughton picked out Clarke inside the box, who unleashed a rocket at Jameson, the Heed goalkeeper failing to keep it out.
Rovers utilised Freddie Sass's long throw in the dying embers of the game.
Sass sent the ball long, Kircough laid the ball off to Ewing, who moved to the right before finding the right side of the net to score his first Rovers goal.
Back-to-back victories and clean sheets for Robbie Savage's side as attention now turns to a long trip up north to Carlisle.
