Forest Green Rovers exited the FA Trophy, following a 3-0 defeat to Wealdstone at The New Lawn.
The Stones led by a goal to nil at the break, thanks to an Enzio Boldewijn header mid-way through the opening period.
Second-half strikes from Oluefla Olomola and Sean Adarkwa secured victory for the away side and passage through to the last eight of the competition.
The opening 20 minutes of the match saw both teams enjoy spells of possession without creating any clear-cut opportunities.
However, the visitors took the lead in the 22nd minute when captain Enzio Boldewijn headed the ball home from a corner.
The Stones should have then doubled their lead just five minutes later when a counter-attack resulted with midfielder Dylan Kadji firing over with an open goal at his mercy.
Rovers then created their first chance shortly after the half-hour mark when a ball over the top found Temi Babalola, and he forced a good save out of Dante Baptiste in the Wealdstone net.
Micah Oberio’s strike on the stroke of half-time called Harry Isted into action, who tipped the ball behind.
On his first start, Gabe Kircough came closest to scoring for Rovers in the opening period when the defender’s header was tipped over the bar by Baptiste.
Rovers thought they had equalised at the start of the second period when Jili Buyabu found the back of the net from a teasing Jay Mengi delivery.
However, the offside flag denied Rovers a leveller and the score remained 1-0 to the away side.
Babalola had another opportunity 10 minutes into the second period but failed to direct his header goalward.
The visitors then doubled their lead just before the hour mark, forward Olufela Olomola pouncing on a loose ball in the box and firing home.
Rovers almost halved the deficit 15 minutes from time when Kyle McAllister forced another good save out of Baptiste.
Laurent Mendy then found the run of substitute Tre Pemberton but the full back couldn’t get his shot away.
The Stones confirmed their victory in stoppage time when Sean Adarkwa found the back of the net from inside the box.
Referee James Durkin then brought an end to the proceedings shortly after to confirm Rovers’ exit.
Robbie Savage’s side will look to bounce back on Tuesday night when they host Woking at The New Lawn in the National League.
Player of the match was Chibby Nwoko with a notable mention to Gabe Kircough who impressed on his first start.
