Forest Green Rovers and Carlisle shared the points in a 1-1 draw at Brunton Park.
Rovers went ahead early with a header from midfielder Kyle Kelly at the near post.
Carlisle hit back quickly, with Micah Obiero's first-time strike levelling the score.
Rovers then had to battle through a tense closing spell to preserve the point, with goalkeeper Ethan Ross making a vital save late on.
First Half:
The opening ten minutes at Brunton Park were action-packed, with both sides creating chances.
Former Rovers midfielder Teddy Jenks curled an effort towards the top-right corner, but it drifted wide. Jayden Clarke's delivery from an early ricocheted into the path of Freddie Sass, but his effort also went wide of the post after a deflection.
Rovers made the second corner count. Clarke's cross found Kyle Kelly at the near post, and the midfielder reacted quickest to head the ball into the net.
Carlisle hit back on the 29th minute. Jenks dispossessed Filozofe Mabete as he drove towards the box, with his shot taking a deflection and falling into the path of Obiero, who made no mistake with his first-time finish.
Ricardo Rees was forced off in the 33rd minute with what looked to be a knee injury, former Carlisle wideman Omari Patrick coming on in his place.
Sean Etaluku burst into the box after a beautifully weighted pass from Kyle Kelly, the wideman's effort hitting the side netting.
Moments later, Etaluku carried the ball forward with just one defender to beat and laid it off to Patrick, whose first-time strike drifted over the bar.
An eventful first half left both sets of supporters believing the game could go either way.

Second Half:
The second half began more quietly than the first, though the visitors continued to dictate the tempo without finding a breakthrough.
Ross launched a long ball towards Etaluku, who got into the 18-yard box but couldn't get his feet set, and the chance went begging.
Jaden Clarke tried to catch the Carlisle defence out with a quick short corner, which eventually reached Kelvin Abrefa. The full-back's shot was comfortably gathered by Adam Desbois.
With the hosts growing restless, Carlisle turned to their bench, introducing danger man Regan Linney. Stephen Wearne then teed up Linney, who dragged a shot from outside the box over the crossbar.
Despite Carlisle's spell of pressure, Rovers came close to restoring their lead: Tate Campbell pounced on a loose ball inside Carlisle's box and squared it to Patrick, the substitute’s effort blocked by the home defence.
With ten minutes remaining, Carlisle continued to push for a winner, but Rovers stood firm. Linney was played through on goal, but his effort drifted wide of the post.
Ross produced a crucial late save to deny Carlisle a winner and secure a point for Rovers.
Honours were even at Brunton Park, with both sides having chances to win it. Rovers now turn their attention to Saturday, when Boston United visit The New Lawn.
