For the final time in 2023, Rovers are in League Two action as we make the short trip to face Swindon Town at The County Ground on Friday night.
Troy Deeney will be looking to earn his maiden win after a positive start to his managerial reign, despite picking up just a point from his first two games.
Ahead of the clash in Wiltshire, here is everything Rovers fans need to know regarding team news, tickets and how to follow the action from home.
“For me personally, I don’t think we need to change much because you can see it is working,” defender Marcel Lavinier said.
“We have to have that hunger and mentality to not get beat and be more clinical up the other end.
“Whenever a new manager comes in, the dynamic changes around the club and there is now that extra spring in our steps.
“It is all about trying to impress the new manager.
“It’s going to be another tough game for us against Forest Green because they have got some very good players,” Swindon boss Michael Flynn said.
“We need to go into it with a similar attitude as we did against Wrexham and hopefully we’ll come away with some points.”
Callum Jones will be absent Friday night as he serves his suspension following his red card against Newport County on Boxing Day.
After getting 10 minutes under his belt on Boxing Day, Lavinier will be pushing for more minutes on Friday night following his return from a hamstring injury.
Jacob Maddox, Nathan Holland, and Jordan Garrick all remain sidelined with injuries.
