Forest Green Rovers look to get back to winning ways as we welcome Solihull Moors to The New Lawn ahead of our lunchtime National League meeting - 12.30PM KO.

During our most recent meeting with the Moors, a second half Teddy Jenks strike was enough to earn all three points for Rovers during our 1-0 win in the West Midlands.

Ahead of the Solihull's trip to Nailsworth, here is everything Rovers fans need to know about our opponents.

THE OPPOSITION - SOLIHULL MOORS

Since our meeting back in September, have battled in a mid-table position but have recently started to fall into the bottom half of the table.

Just one win in 2025 and in their last 14 games has seen Solihull drop to 16th in the National League.

A 52nd minute penalty secured a point on Tuesday night away at Altrincham following a 3-0 defeat to Yeovil Town on Saturday.

Away from home, Solihull are winless in their last seven and have won just five games on the road all season.

IN THE DUGOUT - MATT TAYLOR

The Moors saw former manager Adam Whing depart the club after almost two years for League Two side Barrow back in January.

Whing’s successor was swiftly hired in the form of former Shrewsbury Town and Walsall manager, Matt Taylor.

Taylor departed fellow National League side, Wealdstone, to take up the vacant seat in the West Midlands but has since overseen just one win since his appointment.

PLAYER TO WATCH - JAMEY OSBORNE

The 32-year-old versatile central midfielder has been one of the their most lethal sources of productivity chipping in with nine assists this season.

In his last five games, Jamey Osborne has recorded two assists and scored his only goal of the season back on Boxing Day during his sides 1-0 win over Boston United.

Versatile Osborne can drop into a back three, which he did during the Moors 3-0 loss to Yeovil, but has also been seen to play higher up the field to aid his attackers.
