Forest Green Rovers Women take on Pucklechurch Sports in Bristol as they look to bounce back from last week’s defeat on Sunday in the Southwest Regional Premier Division.
Despite two goals from Erin Williams for FGR, a first half goal and two second half penalties were enough for Sherborne Town to record a 3-2 win.
Pucklechurch have drawn five of their nine league games so far this season, but lost last time out - beaten 5-1 at home to Torquay, Jessica Frazer scoring their only goal.
The Bristol-based side have five draws this season, the most of any team in the league, and have conceded the least goals outside the top four.
There is now an eleven-point gap at the top of the table to league leaders MAP, with Rovers having three games in hand.
The referee for Sunday’s clash is Justin Cox and he will be supported by Paul Ferrigno.
Forest Green Rovers put in a strong performance last time they took on Pucklechurch in January 2024, last season. Two goals for Nalani Hunt, plus strikes from Rhian Robbins, Hattie Jones and Tori Taylor guided Rovers to a 5-3 away win.
